As part of NORAD's Santa calls, US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump had phone conversations with kids.
Children from all over the nation called President Donald Trump on Christmas Eve this year. At the US military's annual NORAD Tracks Santa event, Trump answered in a variety of ways, from making fun of Santa's physique to adding some politics to his responses. In the midst of that, a video of him referring to a child as a "high IQ person" has appeared on social media.
The official White House Rapid Response account uploads a video of the exchange to X. "What do you want from Santa?" the president asks in the video. The kid says, “That’s a hard one,” before adding, “For me… I want a Kindle.”
"You must be a high-IQ person," he goes on. "We need more high-IQ people in the country," he continues. The child laughs heartily over the phone after hearing Trump's comment.
