Neolite ZKW Lightings, a maker of automotive lighting equipment and components, has submitted a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for a ₹600 crore initial public offering (IPO) that combines an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹200 crore with a new issue of shares to raise ₹400 crore.
The business plans to finance the capital expenditure requirements for establishing a new greenfield manufacturing plant in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, with the net proceeds from the new share offering.
Additionally, it plans to upgrade and expand the current Unit 1 production facility's electronic capabilities by acquiring SMT lines, testing equipment, and plant and machinery.
Additionally, a portion of the net revenues will be used for both general business needs and the repayment of some outstanding debts.
