Priyanka Chopra revealed that due of her past failed relationships, she was worried about dating Nick Jonas and had several non-negotiables in mind.

A few years ago, Priyanka Chopra talked candidly about how she had started to consider dating musician Nick Jonas. The actor revealed in a recent Harper's Bazaar interview that she wanted to be with someone who was interested in starting a family. For the man she desired to date, she also prepared a list of things she would not compromise on.

"The first was honesty, because in some of my past relationships, I had been hurt by dishonesty," Priyanka stated.Second, he needed to understand the importance of family. Third, he needed to be very serious about his work, as I am about mine. Fourth, I needed someone with the imagination and creativity to share my great dreams. Fifth, she was reported in the interview as saying, "I wanted someone who had ambition and drive, like me."

The actor continued, saying, "If he hadn't, I wouldn't have married him. You need to find someone who values you. Love and affection are not the same as respect. Before you discover your prince, you must kiss a lot of frogs.
