Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, wrote a heartfelt ode to the cricket player as he moves into a new position with the team.

Shah Rukh wrote, "Thank you for the wonderful memories, Andre," in response to Andre's social media message on Sunday announcing his retirement from the IPL. Our shining knight! Your support of @KKRiders will go down in history.
The celebrity wrote, "And here's to another chapter in your fantastic journey as a sportsman," in reference to the cricket player's current shift to the position of power coach within the team. The power coach is imparting knowledge, strength, and power to our boys in purple and gold. Indeed, you would look strange in any other jersey, my fellow. You are a lifelong Muscle Russell! On behalf of the team and all fans of the sport, I adore you!
Before taking on this new position, Andre talked extensively with Shah Rukh and CEO Venky Mysore, according to his video. This occurs just days after KKR let him go due to a discernible decline in his performance in previous seasons. He is still among the IPL's most influential players, though.
For those who don't know, Shah Rukh has owned KKR since 2008. Jay Mehta, the spouse of Juhi Chawla, is a partner as well.
