Epstein's team claims the investigation "isn't about Bill Clinton" despite Clinton's prominent appearance in publicly available images.
The White House is now attempting to "shield" itself and the investigation "isn't about Bill Clinton," according to a spokesman for the Clinton camp, following the release of several photos from the Epstein Files on Friday (US local time) that prominently featured former US President Bill Clinton with minimal reference to Donald Trump.
In his statement, Clinton spokesperson Angel Urena claimed, "The White House hasn't been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton."
"This is about protecting themselves from what lies ahead or from what they will attempt to conceal indefinitely. This isn't about Bill Clinton, but they are free to publish as many grainy pictures from more than 20 years ago as they choose. Never has, and never will. He said, "Even Susie Wiles said Donald Trump was mistaken about Bill Clinton."
"This group of persons is divided into two categories. Before Epstein's misdeeds were discovered, the first group cut him off since they had no idea what he was doing. After then, the second group kept in touch with him. The first is us. Urena added, "No amount of stalling by members of the second group will change that."
This is an evolving narrative. For more updates, return later.
