Rain in Dubai causes roads to flood, and drivers are advised to watch
According to the prediction, cloud formations will cause the rains that started on December 18 to continue until December 21. According to the study, strong winds up to 50 kmph are predicted to cause issues, and the weather will also make the waters in the Oman Sea and Arabian Gulf choppy.

What we know about emergency response and travel advisories
In order to handle rain-related events, the Dubai Municipality has set up a round-the-clock emergency response system that includes specialized people and equipment.
As the severe weather persists, several offices have implemented work-from-home (WFH) policies for staff members, and officials have issued a travel advisory advising people to avoid traveling over the weekend unless it is absolutely necessary.

In the midst of the busiest season of the year, airlines, including IndiGo, have issued advisories due to flight disruptions.
"Travel Advisory: Weather conditions across the UAE are forecast to shift, with heavy rainfall and thunderstorm expected," IndiGo wrote in a thorough post on social media site X (previously Twitter). There can be sporadic effects on flight operations at different times of the day due to this changing condition.
