Bangladesh confirms the violent death of a Hindu man and delivers a dire warning, saying, "No one involved will be."

Following the assassination of Sharif Osman Hadi, a well-known leader of the student movement last year, the Hindu man was assassinated amid violent riots around Bangladesh.

A Hindu man was beaten to death in Mymensingh after violent protests, the interim government of Bangladesh led by Muhammad Yunus confirmed on Friday. In a statement posted on Facebook in Bangla, Yunus's press secretary Shafiqul Alam vehemently denounced the murder, saying, "There is no place for this kind of violence in New Bangladesh." There will be no exemptions for anyone implicated in this heinous crime.

Following the assassination of Sharif Osman Hadi, a key figure in the student rebellion last year that ultimately resulted in the removal of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Hindu man was assassinated amid violent riots around Bangladesh.

What took place in Mymensingh?
A crowd killed a Hindu man named Dipu Chandra Das by beating him to death, tying his body to a tree, and setting it on fire, according to a BBC Bangla report. After arriving at the scene, police managed to contain the situation and retrieve the body.

The victim was a young tenant in the Dubalia Para neighborhood of Bhaluka Upazila who worked in a clothing factory.Around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, he was apprehended by a furious mob who beat him to death after accusing him of disparaging the Prophet. Duty officer Mia told BBC Bangla, "They then set the body on fire."

The victim's body was transferred to the morgue at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, according to officials. The incident has not yet resulted in the filing of a case.

What we now know about the turmoil in Bangladesh is that, in the wake of the killing of student leader Sharif Osman Hadi, the country is once again experiencing a wave of violence.

Last year, Sharif Osman Hadi played a significant role in the widespread student rebellion in Bangladesh that finally resulted in Sheikh Hasina's removal. In an attack last week, he was shot and seriously hurt. Hadi passed away while receiving care at Singapore's Evercare Hospital.

Protests calling for "justice" erupted in Dhaka and a number of other places after Hadi's passing. Two media outlets, Prothom Alo and The Daily Star, had their offices set on fire during the disturbance.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's former home, Dhanmondi 32, which was destroyed in February, was also set on fire on Friday.

• In a statement issued on Friday, the interim administration also urged people to oppose intimidation, arson, and property destruction, emphasizing that such acts, which are carried out by what it described as a small group of fringe elements, run the risk of undermining peace at a crucial time for the nation.
