Today, PM Modi will inaugurate the "tallest" statue of Lord Ram in Asia in South Goa.

Along with 100,000 devotees, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reciting the Bhagavad Gita at the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana at Sri Krishna Matha, Udupi.  He would then travel to Goa to attend Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math's 550th anniversary.

 Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Goa to participate in the 550th anniversary celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Partagali and to unveil a bronze statue of Lord Ram that is 77 feet tall.

The Prime Minister will also open the "Ramayana Theme Park" created by the Math, according to a PMO press release.  Renowned artist Ram V Sutar created the bronze statue of Lord Ram.

Along with addressing the crowd on the occasion, PM Modi will also unveil a commemorative coin and a unique postal stamp.

More than 15,000 people from all across India are anticipated today, according to S Mukund Kamath, Joint Convenor of the Organizing Committee of Celebrations, who spoke with news agency ANI.

"From all throughout India, more than 15,000 individuals are anticipated. Kamath informed ANI on Thursday that the PM would first go to the bronze statue of Lord Ram and speak to the populace.

More than 1.2 lakh individuals will attend the 11-day 550th-year Math festival, he said.

The first Gowd Saraswat Brahmin Vaishnava math is Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam math. It adheres to the Dvaita order, which was founded in the thirteenth century AD by Jagadguru Madhvacharya. According to the press release, the Math's headquarters are located in Partagali, a small town in South Goa on the banks of the Kushavati River.

PM Modi visited Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi, Karnataka, prior to his planned 3:15 pm visit to the Math in Goa.

Prior to the event, PM Modi conducted a roadshow in Udupi.

He took part in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana program at Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi, which was a devotional assembly of roughly 1,00,000 people who chanted the Srimad Bhagavad Gita in unison. The attendees included students, monks, scholars, and people from all walks of life.

Additionally, the Prime Minister dedicated the Kanaka Kavacha (golden cover) for the holy Kanakana Kindi, a window through which the saint Kanakadasa is said to have received the divine darshan of Lord Krishna, and inaugurated the Suvarna Teertha Mantapa, which is situated in front of the Krishna sanctuary.

According to the press release, Sri Madhvacharya, the originator of the Dvaita philosophy of Vedanta, founded Sri Krishna Matha, Udupi, more than 800 years ago.

PM Modi stated that he is "honoured" to attend the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana session at Sri Krishna Matha prior to his trip to Udupi.

According to PM Modi, the event unites individuals from many societal segments to recite the Gita.

"I have the privilege of traveling to Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi tomorrow, November 28, to participate in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana event. People from all walks of life come together for this unique event to hear the Gita spoken. In our cultural life, this Matha holds a very particular significance.
