Results for the second quarter of Ambuja Cements: The Adani Group company's earnings almost triples to ₹1,388 crore

Results for Ambuja Cements' second quarter show that the Adani Group company's profit almost tripled to ₹1,388 crore.

Q2 results for Ambuja Cements: Ambuja Cements, the cement division of the Adani Group, announced on Monday, November 3, that its standalone profit for the July–September quarter of the current fiscal year (Q2 FY26) had increased by almost three times.

The company's standalone profit after tax (PAT) increased by 177% from ₹500.66 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year to ₹1,387.55 crore in Q2FY26.

At ₹5,139.48 crore, standalone revenue from operations increased 26.2% from the previous year. The company's revenue for the same quarter last year was ₹4,073.17 crore.

Consolidated, the company's PAT for the quarter grew by an impressive 364 percent year over year (YoY). In Q2FY25, Ambuja Cements' consolidated PAT was ₹496.5 crore, whereas in Q2 it was ₹2,302.3 crore. The reversal of ₹1,697 crore in income tax provisions is included in the consolidated PAT.

Operations revenue increased 21.5% year over year to ₹9,174 crore from ₹7,552 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
