Trump praises his "great meeting" with Xi and calls for China to act on fentanyl, revive US farm products, and look into an energy deal with Alaska.

Trump described his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping as "truly great" and described it as a breakthrough that improved bilateral relations. Trump asserted that China pledged cooperation on rare earth exports and fentanyl control in exchange for a return to large-scale purchases of US agriculture products, oil, and gas.

US President Donald Trump described his "very wonderful meeting" with Chinese President Xi Jinping as a turning point that improved relations between the two countries.

"What just happened will only increase the great respect that already exists between our two countries," Trump said on Truth Social.

China will start making big purchases again.

China has committed to start buying "massive amounts of soybeans, sorghum, and other farm products," according to Trump.

He wrote, "Our Farmers will be very happy!" and advised them to purchase larger tractors and more acreage right away.

Similar to trade policies during his first administration, he claimed that these agricultural purchases would strengthen the US farm sector.

Talks for an energy accord are in progress.

China has committed to buy U.S. resources, including gas and oil, possibly from Alaska, Trump said.

Trump named Chris Wright and Doug Burgum as major players in the negotiations, saying, "A very large-scale transaction may take place concerning the purchase of Oil and Gas from the Great State of Alaska."

Trump went on to say that US and Chinese energy teams will get together to discuss the specifics of the proposed agreement.


Fentanyl and rare earths agreement

China will "continue the flow of Rare Earth, Critical Minerals, Magnets, etc., openly and freely," according to Trump.

He added that Beijing promised to assist Washington in stopping the importation of fentanyl into the US.

He wrote, "They will assist us in resolving the Fentanyl Crisis."

Trump refers to the trip as "historic."

Trump thanked the leaders of various countries for their cooperation and hospitality, calling his trip to Asia "historic."

He mentioned the nations who attended a dinner sponsored by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, including Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

According to Trump, "they are bringing hundreds of billions of dollars into our country."

"The best is yet to come, and our country is once again strong, respected, and admired!"

Pay attention to security and prosperity.

In his closing remarks, Trump said that the accords with China will "provide prosperity and security to millions of Americans."

He also mentioned that after the Asia tour, he was going back to Washington, D.C.
