After India's captain humiliates Australia in Perth, Starc refuses to use Jasprit Bumrah's weapon.

Jasprit Bumrah's

On the first day of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Jasprit Bumrah, who was acting as captain, grabbed four wickets and received accolades from everyone, including Starc.

On Day 1 of the upcoming Test match against Australia in Perth, Jasprit Bumrah gave India the lead, demonstrating that the burden of captaining the squad was an additional driving factor. When regular captain Rohit Sharma was absent (on paternity leave), Bumrah stepped up to lead India for the second time in Test matches. He got four wickets to clear the Australian batting order. Many people praised Bumrah's spell with the new ball in the last session of Day 1 in Perth as one of the greatest in contemporary cricket. The Australian camp was unable to stop raving about Bumrah.

Perhaps he has a considerable amount of hyperextension in that elbow and performs a lot of motions, including one that you perform. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that he has long been a superb bowler in all formats. And once more, his abilities demonstrated today just how excellent he is. There must be something in that release point, then. That is important to what he did. Since it's something that many people are unable to do, I will not go try it. "I'm likely to lose my temper," he remarked.

Topsy-turvy struggle on Day 1
\Bumrah chose to bat after winning the toss to start the day. However, the Indian hitters were bundled out for 150 after putting on a lackluster display. Devdutt Padikkal departed after a 23-ball duck, and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was removed following an eight-ball duck. Veteran Virat Kohli, however, was only able to score five runs off of twelve balls.

When other batsmen faltered, Rishabh Pant (37), and Nitish Kumar Reddy (41), who was making his debut, came up with crucial knocks for India. Josh Hazlewood, meanwhile, claimed four wickets for the home team. Additionally, it was the first time since Kingston 2011 that India had been bowled out on the first day of an away series, and the ninth time overall. Additionally, in all nine cases, India faced the fewest overs—49.4 overs.

The Australian batsmen suffered a same fate in response to India's total, falling to Bumrah's four-wicket haul. Marnus Labuschagne scored two runs off fifty-two balls, while Steve Smith was declared out for a golden duck. At Stumps, Australia scored 67/7, with Starc (6*) and Alex Carey (19*) still undefeated.
